ASHFORD PARK SCHOOL 2014
Welcome to the Ashford Park Elementary School Parent Teacher Association website! A place for you to find out about the organization, ask questions, and become involved!
We thank you for joining us, for sharing your ideas and feedback and becoming an active participant in your child’s education.
Ashford Park is a lively elementary school nestled in a charming Brookhaven community. The school was established in 1955. Currently, Ashford Park serves a diverse population of 500 students, representing as many as 15 countries. Our teachers are highly qualified and possess a wide variety of educational levels and experience. They work diligently each day to meet the needs of all students.
The mission of the Foundation is to provide resources to support and enhance educational programs and opportunities for the students and to support the school’s pursuit of a premier education. The funds we raise enrich the learning environment available to every classroom and every child at Ashford Park School.
The A+ Education Reform Act of 2000 established school councils in Georgia to bring communities and schools closer together in a spirit of cooperation to solve difficult education problems, improve academic achievement, provide support for teachers and administrators, and bring parents into the school-based decision-making process.
